Annual Audited Financial Statements and CAFR

The audited financial statements represent JCPS financial activity for the district’s fiscal year, July 1 through June 30. The statements are submitted each year to the Jefferson County Board of Education (JCBE) according to board rules and regulations and in compliance with Commonwealth of Kentucky guidelines and statutes.

The CAFR contains three sections: Introductory, Financial, and Statistical. The Introductory section provides an overview of the district. The Financial section includes the audited financial statements, Management’s Discussion & Analysis, and Required Supplementary Information, also known as the General Purpose Financial Statements, as reported in prior years. The Statistical section provides long-term trend data.
